A project in collaboration with SEEDS, where we aim to build on the experience of both organizations and previous efforts to empower women and increase women’s active and meaningful participation in political parties, as well as increase their representation in leadership positions.
It is essential that we focus on women’s participation at different levels within political parties. Currently, an average of 30% of women are members of political parties, however, there is no accurate data as to how many are actively engaging and participating in meaningful ways beyond only engaging in social and administrative organizational tasks.
