As part of a project aimed at enhancing women's political participation and empowering them to advance the feminist agenda, Madanyat in collaboration with the Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections (LADE) Foundation are working together to engage women of various age groups and nationalities. The goal is to establish ten platforms for women in different local communities, allowing them to exchange opinions and needs, and participate in policy making processes that impact their lives.
Participants in the project will benefit from capacity-building training sessions covering topics such as leadership, active citizenship, and gender justice. Additionally, each group will have the opportunity to collaboratively plan, design, and execute action plans within their communities. Your participation in this survey is crucial to help us identify women interested based on the project's criteria.
It is essential that we focus on women’s participation at different levels within political parties. Currently, an average of 30% of women are members of political parties, however, there is no accurate data as to how many are actively engaging and participating in meaningful ways beyond only engaging in social and administrative organizational tasks.
