Project

This project will monitor both media and social media, to analyze data gathered on cases of violence against women in elections and politics and to produce relevant content and engagement activities to influence the narrative and to promote the adoption of a gender sensitive discourse across media platforms.
This will include:
- A database built and analyzed following a sound media monitoring methodology
- Four reports produced and disseminated monitoring VAWE and VAWP on media
- Four reports produced and disseminated monitoring VAWE and VAWP on social media
- Recommendations on how to eliminate VAWE and VAWP issues

In addition, the project will be facilitating a national dialogue among key actors, women activists and candidates on best measures to be adopted collectively to implement the recommendations on eliminating VAWE and VAWP.
